General FAQ

Each project is unique and is customized for each client. Once we connect and discuss what you are looking for and how I can best serve you, I will provide a quote for you to review.

This can vary greatly and depends on the project. Contact me for more details and to get a better idea of what a timeline would look like for your project.

If you don’t see what you’re looking for on my services page or find that your creative idea doesn’t fit into any of those categories, don’t leave just yet. As a creative, its part of my job to think outside the box and find new ways to do things—my services list is only meant to provide a framework to start from and show what I already have experience with. If you have a unique and new creative idea that isn’t listed, reach out and we will discuss how we can make it a reality.

I attended Alberta University of the Arts (it was called Alberta College of Art + Design when I attended) for four years and earned my Bachelor of Design (BDes) with distinction. In my third year there, I was accepted to an exchange program in Rotterdam, Netherlands where I was exposed to a more radical approach to graphic design at Willem de Kooning Academy. I met designers from around the world and got to experience many new cultures. I returned for my final year at Alberta University of the Arts and right out of graduation I landed a job at a small agency in Calgary. I worked at this agency as a graphic designer for four years gaining industry experience and making connections. I have been freelancing as a side gig since I was in school and after the COVID pandemic I decided to start my own business and make it my full-time job.

I take a 50% deposit upfront upon client onboarding to secure your spot. The remainder of the payment will be taken when the project is complete. This remaining balance is due at handoff of the final deliverables. If any additional fees are incurred throughout the project (ex. You request additional revisions outside the included revisions), they will be added to that final remaining balance that is due at handoff.

I accept a variety of payment methods currently including e-transfer and credit card (credit cards include a transaction fee of 2.9% + CAD25¢).

Almost all of the time I will charge a project fee and if there are any minor additional fees that need to be added on it will switch to hourly. The pricing structure will depend on your project and needs. For example, a branding package will always start with a project fee but if you wanted to make more than the included two rounds of revisions, those additional revisions would be charged by the hour.

Majority of the time I will set up a Google drive so you and I can easily share documents, comments and files. If this doesn’t work for you we can find an alternative way to share files.

Yes I am open to last-minute designs and rush jobs depending on my capacity when I get the request. Last-minute design and rush jobs come at a higher fee.

I sure do! I get excited connecting and working with people from all over the world and I love to learn about all the different businesses people have across cultures. If you are from another part of the world, keep in mind the currency exchange that will take place with payment.
